Hey Dhan
The styling is stored in the MAP file, and MapInfo Pro allows you to have different styles across your records.
You can also apply a layer override style, making all the records in the layer look the same/use the same styling. Finally, you can also use a thematic layer to control the styling. In this way, the styling would depend on the expression used in the thematic map, typically values in a single column. If these values change, the style will also change.
If you want to change the style for a single or multiple objects, use this process:
1. Make sure the layer is editable
2. Select the objects to edit
3. Select one of the Style options from the Style dropdown on the Spatial tab to change the style
4. In the Style dialog shown, set the style and then click OK.
5. Now, save the changes to the table, and you are done.
I hope this helps
Peter

Subject: Change feature styling
Dear All,
I have copied a polygon from another TAB file, but it retained the same styling as the old TAB file from which I copied it. I wonder where the styling information is stored in the TAB files and how to override it for individual or all features in a TAB file.

Thanks & regards,
Dhan
