Abstract
This announcement is for Buildings USA Customers. A new file will be added to the product to reflect building structure status in the upcoming March 2025 release.
Features and Functionality
Within the Data folder of the Buildings USA zip product package, an additional file called Building Structure Status (buildings_status) will be added to show demolished and destroyed structures for natural disaster events. This data can be joined to the main building footprint data file (buildings_usa) via the Precisely Building ID (BLDGID). The first version of the structure status file will show buildings that were destroyed or damaged in the recent Palisades and Eaton California Wildfires.
A draft data schema along with sample data can be found attached to this communication.
