    Upgrade issue when migrating from 6.0.13.00 or 6.0.14.00 to Assure Security 6.0.27.00 or higher

    Technical Alert

    Precisely has discovered an upgrade issue when attempting to migrate from versions 6.0.13.00 or 6.0.14.00 to Assure Security 6.0.27.00 or higher.

    Action to take

    For customers planning to upgrade, we recommend the following options:

    1.       Preferred Option: Wait until Assure Security version 7.0.10.00 is generally available in Q3 of 2023. Once available,         perform a direct upgrade to 7.0.10.00 from your current version.

         2.       Alternatively, for those who need to upgrade immediately, follow this step-by-step approach:

                  a.       Upgrade your current version to any version between 6.0.15.00 through 6.0.26.00.

                  b.       After successfully upgrading to an intermediate version, proceed to upgrade to your desired service pack       

                           (6.0.27.00 or higher).
