Bighnajit,
EnterWorks does not natively support archiving of records beyond using a status field and then filtering the records out when viewing and searching data or when exporting data. At least one customer has implemented an archive process where they move the data from one repository to another but in doing so, they are losing the history data.
I am putting together a generic solution to support true archiving of individual records or entire saved sets whereby the archived data includes its full history. This solution will be presented as a "How To" EnterWorks Tech Talk and should be available in the next week.

Subject: Archiving Old records from a Repository
Is there any record archiving mechanism in Enterworks? We have a SKU repository which has many old records and we do not want them to be present in SKU Staging or SKU Production repository. We do not even want them to Hard or Soft delete them. As hard deleting will cause the record to be lost entirely, and soft delete will still keep bloating the repository.
How can we archive such records so we can retrieve them back for any future need or analysis when needed? Is there any best practise that is followed in similar situation?
