  • 1.  Enhancement Request for Merging Cases

    I would like to submit an enhancement request so that when cases are merge - The closed cases somehow point at the case that is left open.  So comments and such that are added to the case left open are accessible by the cases that were closed.   

    This issue we are seeing is that if a user wanted to look into a closed case that was part of a merge - say 6 months later - it is impossible to tell what case it was tied to or what the reason was for the case.  If they are merging - they are part of the same issue - but if they only open a case that was part of the merge - there is no way to get to the explanation for the issue or how it was resolved (that we add in comments).  For us - it renders the merge option unusable.
