  • 1.  Ingesting DQ+ Logs into Splunk

We utilize Splunk for our corporate monitoring and alerting tool, and I would like to ingest some data from DQ+ logs (or possibly its backend database) to determine a few things.  To start with we are interested in:

    1. History of executions for certain (or all) process models (start time, end time, execution status, completion code, and passed parameters)
    2. Record counts pulled for data stores in executed analyses

Are there a particular set of logs that would contain this, and does it require any kind of adjustment to a logging level or anything like that?

    Hi Nathan,

The information you describe is located within DQ+ "cafe" logs. These may be found at varying locations depending on the type of installation the team has :

    - Cloud Installation : Data360 DQ+ Log Locations

    - Local installation : {Shared_mount_point}/infogix/logs/application/{app.server.fqdn}/cafe.log
