  • 1.  Interactive Gridding Not honour data?

    Hi all,

    Never been in the community but have been a mapinfo user for a long time! 

    Anyway recently updated to build 58 Mi Discover bundle 2019. 

    When using gridding tool found it dou=es not honour data correctly and no longer comes up withb  the correct naming convention suffix - i.e used to name the grid using <filename>_ColumnName of what you were gridding - now comes up with incorrect column name.

    I also checked to see oif I gridded the named column but this did not match what the grid tool was gridding either. So I have no idea what I have gridded...

    Anyone else seen this issue??

    Hi Andrew,

    It sounds like you need to contact Datamine to access support for Discover on MapInfo Pro. I assume you are using the "Surfaces" tool in Discover. I have not had any contact with that product for several years now.

    If you have (or were prepared to purchase) MapInfo Pro Advanced then you can use that to generate grids. MapInfo Pro Advanced is a raster processing extension for MapInfo Pro that we develop and support.
