The <density> tag doesn't change the density, it informs Enrichment. If specified in <input> it becomes the default <density> for any <add> groups, unless a <density> tag in the <add> overrides the default.
The <density> affects how Enrichment evaluates tags that use inches, cm, or mm as units. For AFP <ADD> groups, it would affect the specific pel value used in AFP records that specify positions.

Hello,
AFP density defaults to 240 dpi. Does adding the <density> 300 change the whole AFP file's density or just the specific components that tag was added to? Does it change more than just positioning?
<INPUT> what happens?
<ADD> what happens?
If <density> is added to both?
