    Hi guys,

I am very new to GIS and am trying to convert multiple tab files in Map info to Kml. file format.

Are you able to tell me a way to do this? I have just downloaded Map Info discover to try.

GEO Link through tool extensions works ok but will only convert one file at a time. I have quiet a few to do for a contractor whom does not have a GIS program.

There a conversion website that allows multiples https://mygeodata.cloud/converter/tab-to-kml
Obviously might depend on the sensitivity of the data.

These converters tend to be pretty good, but sometimes oddities in file formats can put them off. But the more tools you have the more chance one will do it!

You did not specify what version of MIPro you are using, but the current GELink tool  for last couple versions of MIPro has a batch conversion option.  Right-click on the GELink tool in Tools window and select from the menu  'Run GELink Batch Utility'.
