  • 1.  Sharepoint Online - Winshuttle Script not opening in Transaction

    ​Good Morning,

    We are transitioning to SharePoint Online. I noticed that if I put my Winshuttle Transaction script(Connect, 10.7.3) in the default document library, and I click on it, it does not open. Instead it asks me if I want to save the file. I did change the setting in the Library  Advance Settings in  SharePoint Online to open in application instead of default browser. That did not fix it.

    Please let me know if someone experienced the same issue and what your solution was.

    I am the Solution Engineer supporting Flowers Bakery. At this point Winshuttle does not support Sharepoint online. We currently support SP 2013 and 2016 on premise.
    We would like to have a Roadmap discussion with the team at Flowers and present our direction for all of our products.

    Hi Thersha

    Bill is correct, we don't support SharePoint online for Foundation.  However this may be a SharePoint setting.

    You would need to get a SharePoint site collection admin to check the following settings.
    1. go to the library that has the templates
    2. click on Library settings on the Library tab
    3. click on advanced settings
    4. choose what you want to have happen when you click on a file

    IDK if that's the issue or not, but I hope it gives you an idea.
