    Hello Mapinfo Community

Hoping someone knows the correct language which is used in text boxes for Layouts. For example on most occasions I am able to use <bol>Disclaimer:</bol>

-- HTML code to make one word heading in the text box bold. so the result would be

    Discalimer:
"Cheese is a type of meat, a tasty yellow treat!"

Can anyone please direct me to the correct code for text box manipulation of appearance of text

    Regards

    Hi David

In MapInfo Pro, the text in a text frame can only have one text style, unfortunately. So you will need to split your bold text from the rest of the text.

Using the Smart Guides, it's quite easy to align the text to each other.

Thanks Peter. Yes my colleague suggested this as well. The auto align feature is handy. Have to get used to these graphical advantages of Mapinfo

I'd second that html or xml tagging would be a great step forward! Maybe for labels as well as text boxes. One for the future perhaps?
