  • 1.  Merge multiple .tab files into one

    Hi

Is there a simple way (without dull work with Table --> Append rows) to merge multiple .tab files, which have same structure into one .tab file. Long time ago, I used .mbx (called "Comb_Layer"?) for this, but I can't find a working .mbx for this task now. I am using MapInfo Pro ver 17.0.4 (64-bit) Release Build 3.

    Thanks

    Hi Asko
There is an old 32-bit tool called Append2 that appends multiple files.
Still on the old MapInfo Tools website https://mapinfotools.com/index.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=sobi2Details&catid=0&sobi2Id=6&Itemid=72

Just tried it in v17 and it doesn't run in 64-bit.
Do you still have v15 32-bit to run this?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I don't have possibility to use old MapInfo versions. I guess it's nevertheless worth to order this functionality from our institution's software developer partner, who knows MapBasic or Python better than me :)

I've got an mbx tool called multipend which I got from somewhere years ago, not sure where, that still seems to work on my V17 64bit, hides away in the Legacy tab
