  • 1.  Child assets to inherit ownership of parent assets

    I would like the ability for child assets to inherit ownership of parent assets because I want to kickoff a workflow from the child asset and have it sent to the correct person.

    Rather than assigning the data domain/ownership at the column level, I want to assign it at the database level (more manageable) and have the table column level inherit the data domain and ownership information from the database.

    During implementation we understood there were tickets already opened related to this for this improvement – ticket GOV-11213 and GOV-11201

    <x-zendesk-user data-user-name="Suhas Kotha">365021274968</x-zendesk-user> is anyone looking at this? We have use cases for this issue too, where allowing ownership rules to be inherited down would save a lot of tedium and reduce risk of human error. thanks

    Hi Justin,

    I do not have an ETA at this time, though GOV-11213 and GOV-11201 are both currently in review by product management and development teams.
