In SCV implementations we often quantify the effectiveness of customer consolidation for initial load and each delta load by automating the calculation of the appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
This way we can see not only the customer deduplication effectiveness on a daily basis but see it in context of trends of many days, weeks, months and years and make any adjustments to the matching/ consolidation process as deemed necessary based on any unexpected consolidation rate patterns the appear.
We also similarly often quantify the effectiveness of customer assignment in transaction processing such as determining which master customer was involved in bank transactions and retail transactions.
We can automate this process in Spectrum data flows using Group Statistic, Custom Transforms and Math stages.
