In Single Customer View (SCV) implementations we often determine and process regular (e.g. daily) customer data updates after the initial customer historical load to keep the master customer data current
There are typically three types of implementations
-1st, The Client process determines and delivers delta data to the Spectrum SCV process. In this case, the SCV implementation is not responsible for determining the customer data updates that need to be processed since the previous update
-2nd, Spectrum Change Data Capture module is implemented for Oracle or SQL Server to record insert, update, and delete activity on the source customer data to determine the customer data deltas
-3rd, a Spectrum job is implemented to track the most recent record update date from the delta batch being processed and then for the next delta run, request records from the source that have a more recent update date
Attached is a SCV Advanced Topic 'How To' Short Training Video on how to implement this third type of implementation.
