    Recently I had this error: Invalid compressed data to inflate, while unzipping one of the monthly data files downloaded from Pitney Bowes Market place.  Thought of sharing the resolution for this error with the community.

    Issue:

    We'll see this error: "Invalid compressed data to inflate" while unzipping the downloaded zip files monthly data updates (e.g. USSMMYYYY_1000.zip) in spectrum Platform server as shown in the screenshot below:

    Symptom:
    The unzipped file will be smaller than the actual file size. It is one the best practice is to check the size of the files before and after unzipping. It can't be less than zipped file size. This error occurs due to improper downloading or network issues during downloading.

    Resolution:
    1. First delete the corrupted unzipped file copied to the server.
    2. Download the new monthly data file once again from Pitney Bowes Market place under Products section to temporary folder in your desktop or shared location.
    3. Copy this zip file to the server
    4. Unzip once again and check the actual size of the file after unzipping. If the unzipped file size is equal or greater than the zip file size, than that zip file is properly inflated or unzipped.
