In SCV implementations we often not only create master customer records for existing master customer repositories but we also often create new  persistent repositories of consolidated master customers in the Spectrum Data Hub graph data base to help manage and understand critical customer data assets. In this scenario, the master customer data is often physically stored in the Data Hub graph database. However, we also often want to use the power of the graph data base to view, query and analyze master customer information with other valuable customer information like sales or financial transactions, promotions and customer Personally Identifiable information (PII) already stored in existing data repositories such as relational data bases or big data non-relational data management platforms such as the Hadoop platform. Spectrum Metadata Insights provides the ability to Link Virtual entities such as financial transactions stored in another external repository to physical entities such as customer information stored in the Data hub graph database so that we can view, query and analyze the master customer information in relation to other valuable information such as customer transactions.

Attached is a SCV Advanced Topic 'How To' Short Training Video on how to implement this functionality.
