GeoStan Geocoding Suite - Spring 2019 Release
I'm really excited to announce the newest release of GeoStan™, which is part of our GeoStan Geocoding Suite.
In particular, GeoStan 32.00 expands your access to information about addressable locations.
Previously, additional software and processing steps were needed to retrieve Extended Attributes information for addresses that received a pbKEY from our Master Location Data (MLD). As of this latest release, information from the optional Extended Attributes dataset, which includes parcel attributes such as APN and elevation, can be returned directly from GeoStan as just another output field during address matching and geocoding.
If you've already been using Centrus Points with APN and/or elevation, you can easily switch to using MLD with APN and/or elevation by just switching out your loaded datasets.
Highlights of the release are:
- Master Location Data (MLD) Extended Attributes – This new GeoStan feature provides access to extended attributes associated with an addressable location that has a pbKEY. When matching addresses with MLD, you can now seamlessly return additional property information associated with the address, such as APN, Elevation, Address Type, Lot Size, etc.
- Residential Delivery Indicator (RDI™) – GeoStan can now return RDI™. This United States Postal Service (USPS®) data product identifies whether a delivery type is classified as residential or business. If you are shipping to residences, you may lower costs by shipping with the Postal Service™ and avoid residential delivery surcharges typically charged by other shipping companies.
- Improvements to Singleline Address Matching – GeoStan address matching, for addresses entered on a single address line, allows you to identify the best possible results even with non-standard or missing address information.
