November 15 in GIS Day, and day dedicated to learning about what GIS is and its application. It's a chance to help students understand the field and many GIS departments will host open houses to help their co-workers improve their knowledge of how it is applied.

With our partner @Jukka Erkkilä? from Blom Kartta Oy I'm doing a webinar on "Presentation, Output and Publishing" on the 15th of November.

Part of the webinar will be in Finnish and my part will be in English so it's mostly targeted at the Finnish audience.

Here in the UK we are making available our Augmented Reality application for use by Local Authorities to help promote the use of their Address Registers that they create.?

We are helping the UK Addressing community to better promote their work internally within the organisations for which they work so that their colleagues understand the potential of GIS data in traditional forms but also how emerging AR technology will play an increasingly important role
