Can Assure 9.3 use a flat file or stored Control Data as input to translation?

  • 1.  Can Assure 9.3 use a flat file or stored Control Data as input to translation?

    I created a new complex Translations item using a Layout that reads an Excel spreadsheet.  The data is never being captured. (1) Can Excel or other flat file format be used for Translations?  (2) Can a Layout be set up to query/read data from stored Control Data, then used for Translation?  If either or both can be done, please send link to document that explains set up.

    Excel & Other flat-file formats should be fine with translations. For your second question, you should be able to do that since you can query control data tables in Assure, which should be fine to be queried in a layout.
