Some of the information that may steer priority could already be held as a feature attribute. Option to reference these as a multiplier would save someone having to input the information in the field.

Good afternoon all. I am part of Kent County Councils WMHI Project team. We've implemented a two stage risk based approach, based on the hierarchy and defect type to generate a preliminary priority rating for the route and defect type. Giving staff the ability to overwrite and change- which a text response explaining why the change. Part of the data being gathered is perhaps down to not fully understanding that the Risk based approach meets specific needs to react with the different hierarchies - with strategic routes being higher priority when compared to minor routes. However, with the data - it seems likely that some of this discrepancies may also be linked to positioning of defect, depths and widths etc. Have other authorities pursued other methods? What have you found worked, what was complicated and were they easy enough to implement in terms of with staff - and system wise? Many thanks Jamie
