Hi,

We have recently had a use case put forward where using "Followers" as a way to list distant stakeholders for use in notifications seems like a solid approach. This people would not want to be list on the responsibilities tab as they have o direct owners of the asset, but may be impacted if significant changes we made to the asset. 

This a really good use case for followers, but one thing that is stopping me using this to solve for this problem is that there is no easy way to set followers centrally as a starting point.

I certainly don't want to ask each use to go and follow 10-20 assets themselves and I would also like a way to remove followers if a second or third hand relationship was broken. 

I really dont want to create hidden responsibility groups if I can help it.

Hi John,

Looking within "administration" > "API" I do see "get" options for followers / watchers, though nothing in regards to "post" / "delete".

I will open a ticket with my DEV team to explore options on this and will post back with updates as they are made available.
