  • 1.  Automatically generate tables from each row in a table

    I have a table of polygons. I would like to create a table for each polygon, ideally taking the name of each new table from a field in the tab file.
    Does anyone know of a tool or mapbasic script that does this out there? I've searched t'internet and cant find one. I could write one myself but I think that would take longer than actually doing it manually.

    Hi Martin

    The Layer Group By tool from the Community Download page should do the trick.
    I'd think this tool also will make it to the MapInfo Marketplace if it hasn't yet.
