    Hi,
I'm mapping information using a thematic map (V17). Graduated points. My information is in integers.
The legend insists on showing decimals though.

Obviously this is less than helpful when people try to interpret what they are seeing on the map- how do I constrain it to integers?

Also, while I'm here, how do i get zero or n/a to show up as no point. At present they still show a dot and I have to explain that means zero.

    Martin,

2 ways I can think of with the legend numbers.
    a) just edit them in the legend window to the closest whole number
    b) make the maximum size 10 then the other increments are 5 and 1.

to eliminate 0s or n/a query the data first to get rid of these records and then thematic map the Query layer instead

Cheers Nick. a) is clunky but b) sounds workable :-). Never tried to thematic from a query, I'll give it a go.

    all the best

    Hi Martin
When you first create the thematic: on Step 2 of 3, when you select the table and the field, there is also a tick box to Ignore Zeroes or Blanks.
That will stop them getting a symbol displayed.
