  • 1.  Table polygon visibility

Hi all. I'm using MapInfo Pro v2019 64bit.

I have been editing a layer which is a table containing different polygons. Each polygon is set to a dashed line to represent different urban areas. However surrounding the urban area I have a polygon which is for the countryside but I don't want this countryside polygon boundary being shown? Therefore how can I make this polygon boundary invisible but keep all other polygon boundaries in table visible?

    Thanks

    Richard

    Hi Richard

I would create a theme and use an attribute to distinguish between the urban areas and the countryside. Via the Individual thematic, you can give each of the bins its own style, for example, urban area red and countryside green.

Once the theme has been drawn, you can use the Layer List to turn off the visibility of the countryside polygons.

    Hi Richard
Make the table editable, double-click on the Countryside polygon and edit the style to N = no style. you can still select the polygon but it will be invisible.
P.S. why do you need to draw a polygon that is invisible?
