On Home Tab, Tool Extensions, do you see any tools loaded in the Tools window?
In the Registered tab, are all the default tools listed like below with some of them set to Autoload? If not checked to automlod then check Universal Translator to autoload it. Double-click it to execute it if not loaded.
If the AddUser routine ran as expected during startup these should have been placed in registry and MIPro would find and list them under the Registered tab, and check to autoload them as set in reginfo64.ini file (in MIPro ProgamDir).
If they are not present then some IT permissions issue is likely preventing them from being created in the registry.
the default MapInfo tools listed

Hi Bill,
Sorry to take so long to check this out. It looks like the one of the problems might be that the Tools is not loaded into the program Files. I.T did reload the MapInfo program after i released the serial number so that it could be loaded back in. Have you any other ideas that may help please.

Is this key still in your registry or was it removed?
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MapInfo\MapInfo\Professional\1700
Were the tools removed from beneath this location in registry?
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MapInfo\MapInfo\Professional\1700\Tools64
These should have been left behind after an uninstall of MIPro 17.x.
Were they removed?
If there is a Registered_64 DWORD located at Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MapInfo\MapInfo\Professional\1700
Set it to 0 and then restart MIPro 17.x. The AddUser install should then re-run at startup and restore default set of tools.
