    Hi
For some reason, clip raster no longer works.
    * .MRR raster and polygon are in the same projection,
and in the same place spatially (also visually).
But I get an answer "no overlap found between raster and clip extent"
    and nothing happens.
Has anyone encountered such an error? Could it be caused by the Windows updates
    or ...?

    HI
I recall seeing this issue in an earlier version of MapInfo Pro. I haven't seen it lately - or maybe I just haven't used the Clip tool in the later versions.

What version of MapInfo Pro are you on?

    Hi
    Version19.3, bundle with Datamine Discover.

If I take a new scanned image file and will start with georeferencing etc. then this error will occur.

I've probably found what's causing the problem. The original image files have been converted to two-color
and compressed, that's probably behind the whole thing.
Everything works with older existing rasters and if I use some other not compressed and resampled images.

    All the best

    Hello Tambet,

Thanks for sharing this info. How are you georeferencing the scanned image files?

No overlap error generally comes when polygons and Raster are not in the same place. It also depends on how the Raster files are georeferenced. If raster registration info is stored externally in the TAB file and Raster tool is unable to read it correctly then also this issue may come. Compression or conversion to two-color should not result in this error.

Our suggestion would be to use warp image tool (Raster->Raster Operations->Warp Image) to georeference the scanned files and then use clip tool. Hopefully this should work.

    Thanks

    Hi
"Our suggestion would be to use warp image tool (Raster->Raster Operations->Warp Image)...."
Yes, that's exactly what I do,  problems occurred with these 2 color transparent images only.
There are no problems when using RGB full color image file.

Can we have a sample of input MRR and polygon file?
