Have you checked the Enhanced Rendering settings for the map itself too?
The screenshot is for the Preferences which only apply to new maps.
Right-click on the Map in the Explorer and go to Map Options

In Mapinfo 2019.3b45 I have started to notice that text labels don't look quite right.
I have tried various versions of the following settings but this issue isn't resolved.
I have tried this on other screens and machines as well.
In v15 (32bit) it looks much better.
Is there some setting that I have missed?
