    The attached PDF document gives you an overview of how to get started with editing and adding spatial data/records to tables in MapInfo Pro.

    This is not a complete set of instructions more a compilation of suggestions and short cuts for drawing and editing spatial as well as attribute data in MapInfo Pro.

    If you think there is important elements missing in the document, feel free to comment on these and we will consider adding these.

    On the subject of precision in your last section, there is another article describing how the built-in tool in MapInfo can be used to easily control the current Bounds, and therby the precision:

    Here's an updated version of the document with some more tips & tricks. I have added soem ore suggestions on the keyboard shortcuts available when drawing.

    I have also restructured the document a bit.
